Waiting on the Return :)

Kids say the darnest things. My 8 year old lost another tooth tonight. Hes in the "I'm not sure if there is a Tooth Fairy stage" Anyway he placed it in a plastic baggy under his pillow and said " Mom, if there is a Tooth Fairy she better leave the loot in the bag this time. Last tooth she waited 2 days before she left me money and took my tooth" (Well the Tooth Fairy couldnt find it he hide it well and I explained that to him again) so he says, " Ok well maybe God didnt get her check in time to cash it but this one has been loose for a week she should have budgeted for it"

The Two Sisters

These miraculous trees are located in the mountain village of 'Bechealeh' in Northern Lebanon. Experts believe them to be the oldest trees on earth, and possibly the oldest living biological life-form on our planet.

These are a pair of entwined olive trees within an olive grove that date back more than 6000 years. It is thought that the white doves that flew from Noah's Ark, picked one of the branches off of these olive trees and took it back to the ark.

On another note, if the tree of life was  a reality, this is what we should envision it as. Just think more than 6000 years old! Wonder just how many people over the years have sat underneath its bough. Imagine if the Two Sisters could talk, what stories they would tell us!

They are also known as The Sisters Olive Trees of Noah. Here is a poem written by
Vaikunthanath Kaviraj on January 27 2012, that I wanted to share with you;

Two Sisters, entwined in tight embrace.
Examples for the human race.
Have stood the test of heat and time,
To show us humans that our crime
Consists of cutting down their kind
As if we lost our collective minds.

What these two trees have come to show
Is that if humans cannot grow
Together for a common cause
It is much more than life we lost
We lose ourselves and more than that
We lose our precious habitat.

So if as humans we survive,
for all the species we must strive
Not just for selfish ends we live
But for what enables us to give
And share with ev'ryone on earth
For that is what makes living worth.
